Pointe Shoe Fittings

It is always the dream of a ballerina to go ‘en pointe’ and when the day finally arrives it is a very exciting and special time for them.

The Dance spot has created a relaxed and friendly service and space for fittings to take place and our fitters have been trained professionally. Pointe shoes must fit properly in order to provide the support required to dance en Pointe. We work closely with dance teachers and parents to ensure the dancer is ready for pointe work.

Each appointment is booked out for an hour to ensure the correct shoe is fitted. This can be arranged by phoning the shop 01249 248848 or emailing info@thedancespot.co.uk

We stock a full range of pointe toe pads, toe spacers and lambs wool to ensure the dancers feet are protected, plus many more accessories such as ribbon, elastics, pointe shoe bags, darning thread and drying inserts to keep the shoe dry and fresh.

Therabands, foot massagers and rollers can also be purchased at the shop to assist with the strength of the dancers feet, legs and core.

Pointe shoes currently in stock: Bloch - However, we have the ability to order different brands should our student's feet require it.

We also stock demi-pointe shoes for those that require them for pre-pointe classes or the vocational grades. An appointment is also required for these to be fitted and can be done via the shop.
